The “ limited time event” will feature Sonic as a main character with specially designed mazes based on the famous Green Hill Zone from the original games. On the flip side of things, Sonic is racing his way into the PAC-MAN mobile game “to save his kidnapped animal buddies”, as Sonic does. To be honest, the details are quite vague here, so it wouldn’t surprise us to see these options added as in-app purchases down the line. Namco and Sega said that players who collect enough of PAC-MAN’s in-game items during the event will be able to permanently earn those characters inside of Sonic Dash. PAC-MAN will not be permanent additions to the game. PAC-MAN and Sonic the Hedgehog have proven to be some of the most enduring heroes in video game history, and seeing each of these characters in these new universes helps remind us why we fell in love with them in the first place…We hope that Sonic fans and PAC-MAN fans alike will enjoy seeing their favorite characters take on new challenges and try their best, all for the sake of friendship. There will also be a new Bash the Ghost boss battle in Sonic Dash as well. PAC-MAN to compete in 4 “ alternating one-week special character events”. Players will be able to run as PAC-MAN or Ms. Eggman is conspiring with Bash the Ghost ” to exact revenge in Sonic Dash”. Both crossovers will also include special stages, collectibles and items. PAC-MAN as playable runners in Sonic Dash.
Not only will Sonic be a playable character in the PAC-MAN mobile app, we will also be getting PAC-MAN and Ms.
